Romantic Novel Review | Trust Me by Kristin Mayer

If you can't get enough of powerful, possessive, hot, and wealthy male characters then Trust Me by Kristin Mayer should be your next romance purchase. Damien Wales comes crashing into Allison Scott's life on the beaches of Miami, Florida. Technically, she crashed into him, but that's what you'll find out in the story. Allison is a female lead with her own issues to sort through, involving a past that has left her a bit scarred, scared of trusting others, and as a social recluse. She decides she is finally ready to leave the past where it belongs, in the past, and takes some time to begin to find what life is about while in Miami, Florida. What Allison does not expect to find is sinfully gorgeous Damien Wales.

Damien has a possessive streak that shows up almost immediately and doesn't take no for an answer. Throughout the book, you begin to unravel his past which adds elements of mystery to the story. As is with most novels, their love affair is a torrid, fast paced one. Allison doesn't even know who Damien really is until she's returned home and spoken with her best friend. It comes as a shock to know that Damien Wales is an extremely wealthy man who owns a professional football team. Allison doesn't even know the first thing about football, Damien remedies this by the end of the second book!

There is enough twists and turns in the first book alone to keep your attention. The best friend, Samantha Matthews, is quirky, fun and all around a great friend. The dynamic between the three majors characters is great to read and the character development doesn't disappoint. I'll leave you with the story overview and link to purchase!
